Congratulations on reaching the website of Paul "Iceman" Mondor.

Check the site out. We've got info on his books (two of them!), his adventures (two wheeled and otherwise!), self-guided tour info put together by Paul himself and last but far from least, how to "Tour with Paul" yourself.

Paul @ Summerfest Days 2010

Paul is very excited to be speaking at the BMW Summerfest 2010, July 9 to 11th.

More information as it becomes available. Official Summerfest 2010 info is here: http://www.bmw-motorrad.ca/En/summerfest.php. Currently, you need to click on "new for 2010" blue button (its small) to see the 2010 events/speakers.

Update: I've got an email into Paul to remind him to make a post or two on the forums so we can be updated on how this is going for him. Forums are here.

2011 Frozen Butt Tour Announced!!

Never say Never, and Paul is planning another FBT.

Paul's own words best summarize the trip:

We ride as a group. We struggle as a group, and we do not leave (Ever) anyone behind. Never!

This is and will be the most dangerous ride you will have ever been on. Make no mistake. But it will be the best at the same time.

If any of you want to sign up, please send me an Email at Paul@PaulMondor.com

I already have four guys who have signed up and fronted the money. Which means there are 5 seats left. As some of them change their minds as the D-Day gets closer I will let you know of the sudden availability. 10 riders including me is all I will take on.

I guess like some have said that they were waiting to see how the first one would go. it went awesome and I as well as the riders have learned a lot. Thanks to them I know more about what must be done and not done. Thanks Keith, Patrice, Steve and Gerry!

Iceman ;)

See the Tour with Paul page for more information.

FBT 2010 Update!!

The FBT 2010 tour is in the history books.

A quick look at the latest posts on the 2010 Tour are displayed below, or head over to the Iceman forums for the complete details and some amazing pictures.

Books!!

A reminder that the books are available at Trafford, but I really prefer to ship them myself -- and this gives me a chance to write a little note in the book for you. You can pay at PayPal to Paul@PaulMondor.com and I will ship it anywhere in Canada for the price of C$24.79 for "Two wheels through winter" and C$28.99 for "Iceman vs. Labrador" -- taxes and shipping in!! Email me for anything else, including paying by cheque.

I would like to thank you all for the encouragement and the patience which at times I really did not have.

Thank YOU!!

PS: Many people have asked me to send them a copy with something written in it. I will! I do not have a secretary! (At times I need it), but I will send it to you ASAP. If you would like me to do the same, please just send me an email with your address and what you would like this crazy French Canadian Frog to write in it and I will do it. If you stay close and want to have it straight from me please just ask me and I will do it.

Launch Party!

Paul recalling his journey to the crowd.

The book unveiling took place on December 19th at Evedar’s Bistro in Langford. Thanks to Marc the owner and also to all of you who showed up, it was a great success. I gave two presentations of my two Cross Canada Winter motorcycle trips to a packed place. I also sold many books.

I want to say thanks to all of you for showing up and taking the time in the busy Holiday Season to come and show your support. Without all of you, none of what I do would matter. I am touched by your support and I am humbled by how you are interested in these things I do. Some call it craziness; I call it living life to the max. See below if you are interested in ordering the books. Being a one man operation I have managed to sign and ship hundreds of them myself. Thanks for the patience you are also showing.

I hope that you and your loved ones have a blessed Happy New Year.
